PAC Report As Project Manager for the Submission Development Stage, ACHIEVE was instrumental in securing a $36M funding agreement involving commonwealth, state and Indigenous health agencies to establish the largest coordinated care project (at that time) in Australia.

Sustainable Community Housing

In conjunction with Southern Cross University and a local Aboriginal Community Working Party, we explored and developed innovative strategies for sustainable community housing in an Indigenous community. The processes adopted included:

Recruiting local Aboriginal people to conduct a houshold survey to find answers to the Question - What will make acommunity housing plan sustainable?
Involving them in the development of thesurvey questionniare as part of their training
Training them to conduct the survey

The survey provided some fairly indicative answers.
